It is claimed that the Pittsburgh Steelers do not intend to hire an experienced quarterback to replace Kenny Pickett in the starting lineup for the next campaign.

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Steelers don’t want to interfere with Pickett’s chance to establish himself as the long-term starter by starting a quarterback controversy. Instead, they want to give him another season to see if that happens.

As stated by Dulac, the Steelers are probably not going to try to acquire Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields through trade or sign Kirk Cousins in free agency. Russell Wilson of the Denver Broncos is a quarterback, and if the Broncos cut him, they are allegedly not likely to sign him or trade for him….
