The St. Louis Cardinals and right-handed reliever Keynan Middleton have reached an agreement on a $6 million, one-year deal.
The 30-year-old Middleton will become the team’s tenth pitching signing of the offseason, the team said on Saturday.
The Cardinals have a $6 million option for 2025 with a $1 million buyout, and Middleton will receive $5
million in 2024.
With the Angels (2017–20), Mariners (2021), Diamondbacks (2022), White Sox (2023), and Yankees (2023), he has spent seven major league seasons playing.
