Jaylen Mbakwe is remaining ‘locked in’ with Alabama football.

Mbakwe is a former five-star out of Clay-Chalkville High School in Alabama. He is currently enrolled at the University of Alabama as an early enrollee. The versatile athlete will go through spring practice with the Tide.

The Cougars let Mbakwe spread his wing as an athlete during his high school career as he lined up at defensive back, quarterback and wide receiver at different points. Alabama originally planned to use him as a defensive back.
