Metallica has announced that their “M72 World Tour” will extend into 2025, marking the third year of their highly successful No Repeat Weekend tour format. The band will perform 21 North American shows from April to June 2025, continuing their unique stadium production with a 360° view stage setup and the Snake Pit at the center. Each weekend will feature two completely different setlists and opening bands, ensuring that fans experience a unique show each night.

New locations have been added to the tour, including cities like Tampa, Denver, Nashville, and a long-awaited stop at Levi’s Stadium in their home Bay Area. In addition to the weekend shows, Metallica will also perform single shows in various stadiums, including the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse and Virginia Tech’s Lane Stadium. The tour will kick off on April 12, 2025, at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas, and will also include dates at the Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio.

Metallica is also offering enhanced experiences for fans, such as meet and greets, stage tours, and early entry, along with travel packages for most tour locations. Pantera and Ice Nine Kills are set to return as opening acts on some dates, adding to the tour’s excitement【48†source】.
