
Nuno Espirito Santo is the new head coach of Nottingham Forest.
The Portuguese has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract at the City Ground after Steve Cooper was fired on Tuesday.
Nuno, who will be in charge of Saturday’s match against Bournemouth, made his comeback to English football two years ago when he quit Tottenham following a disastrous four-month stint.
After leaving Al-Ittihad, a Saudi Pro League team, in November, he has been unemployed. He joins Forest five points above the relegation zone.
The 49-year-old takes over for Cooper, who was fired following only one win in his previous 13 Premier League games.
