Voting for Norwich City Women’s December Player of the Month, presented by Sekura.id, is now open.

In a month with only two games, the Canaries won six points out of six in Division One South East, tying them for first place with AFC Wimbledon.

The highlight of the month was a 2-0 win over the league leaders, followed by a 4-1 win over Chesham United at The Nest.

This month’s nominees are Katie Knights, Natasha Snelling, Ellie Smith, and Hope Strauss.

Katie Knights put the Canaries back on top in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Chesham United, and her performance earned her Opposition Player of the Match.

Natasha Snelling’s goal tally reached double figures this month, thanks to a crucial brace against AFC Wimbledon and the game-winning goal against Chesham at the weekend.

The striker has now scored 11 goals across all competitions.

Ellie Smith is nominated again this month, following her goal against Chesham United and assist to Snelling’s first goal against AFC Wimbledon at the beginning of the month.

With only one goal conceded in the month, Hope Strauss’ defensive presence has been critical to the Canaries’ success in December. A goal-line clearance from the number 25 also kept Norwich in the game against MK Dons at The Nest.

The polls close at 9 a.m. on Friday, December 22.
