The 21-year-old has made an impression in the Bundesliga this season, scoring six goals and providing four assists in 14 league appearances. Beier’s current contract with Hoffenheim expires in four and a half years, but he is said to have a €32.5 million (£28.1m) release clause. That appears to have piqued the interest of Forest, as well as Brighton and Hove Albion and Liverpool in the Premier League.
