Former Port Adelaide ruckman returns to ancient club for 2024

Previous Harbour Adelaide ruckman Brynn Teakle has returned to his ancient WAFL club after being delisted by the Control and barely lost a spot on Collingwood’s list for 2024.

Teakle was drafted to Harbour through the 2022 Mid-Season Draft and debuted two weeks afterward when he tragically broke his collarbone which driven to as it were six recreations at the AFL level amid an 18-month stretch at Alberton Oval.

Since being delisted, the 24-year-old went through the summer with ruling premiers Collingwood, preparing with them for pre-season trusting to be included to their list by means of the Supplemental Choice Period.

Be that as it may, having fair missed out on a spot at the Jaybirds, Teakle has since chosen to return domestic to his ancient WAFL club East Fremantle.

Teakle said he is looking forward to being back in his domestic state and bringing what he has learnt at the AFL level to assist the Sharks meet the prerequisites to perform each week. Talking in a club declaration, he moreover said how he cherished his opportunity to prepare with the Pies over the summer.

“Being at Harbour, I was able to see how a few of the finest players within the competition went around planning, how difficult they worked and how much commitment and time they put into recuperation. I was able to change many things in those spaces that I accept have helped me create as a player,” said Teakle.

“Collingwood was amazing – their consideration to detail on the track and within the exercise center was first class and everybody at the club fair needed to assist you get superior. “I’ve certainly missed the WA shorelines. I’m too looking forward to being able to head domestic to Geraldton at any time and spend a few time on the family cultivate in Northampton. The boys have been truly steady over the final 2 seasons.”

East Fremantle Sharks Football Director Brad Dodd supported Teakle to still have an affect at the following level.

“We’re energized to welcome Brynn back to Shark Stop. He had worked unimaginably difficult to make an opportunity at the another level, and whereas it hasn’t panned out as well as he would’ve preferred, he is decided to proceed to work on his game and keep his name within the blend,” said Dodd.

“He’ll play basically as a ruckman with East Fremantle but has appeared already that he can be harming as a forward moreover.

East Fremantle’s season gets underway on Saturday, March 30 against Peel Thunder at Path Bunch Stadium.
