According to Steve Sidwell, West Ham United is considering Gary O’Neil, the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers, as a possible successor to David Moyes.
On That Peter Crouch Podcast, the former Chelsea midfielder stated that he had heard from insiders that O’Neil, who was a player for the London club from 2011 to 2013, made an impression on West Ham, who triumphed on Thursday.
At the end of the current campaign, Moyes’ contract with West Ham expires. O’Neil took over as Wolves’ manager only in August of 2023.

O’Neil is one of the best young managers out there, and he is only 40 years old. The Englishman prevented the Cherries from being demoted to the Championship at the end of the previous campaign with his outstanding work at Bournemouth.
I think O’Neil’s dismissal was regrettable. Bournemouth has only recently begun to accumulate points on a regular basis.
Although he was not well received by Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters when he was named first-team manager in August 2023, the club is interested in signing Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, and he has performed well there.
Wolves are currently nine points clear of the drop zone. They won’t fail, in my opinion.
