Joe Burrow makes feelings known as Cincinnati Bengals appoint new offensive coordinator.

Joe Burrow has expressed his satisfaction with the Cincinnati Bengals’ decision to appoint Dan Pitcher as the new offensive coordinator. Pitcher, who has been alongside Burrow throughout his NFL career since 2020, earned the promotion following Brian Callahan’s departure to coach the Tennessee Titans.Having been initially hired by Marvin Lewis as a scout and continuing with Zac Taylor, Pitcher emerged as the natural successor to Callahan, especially after Jake Browning’s success in Burrow’s absence. Renowned for his role in Burrow’s development, Pitcher’s contributions to third-down installations and the overall offensive structure led to his well-deserved promotion. Despite having other interview opportunities with different teams, Pitcher opted to remain with the Bengals. This development bodes well for Burrow, who, upon recovering from a wrist injury that prematurely ended his 2023 season, will return to a familiar coaching setup.Burrow expressed his sentiments about Pitcher’s new role, saying, “Our relationship is as good as it gets. I wouldn’t be the player I am today without him. He’s been preparing for this for years. He takes his job very seriously and does it with a lot of passion.

“Pitcher, with 12 seasons of NFL experience, eight of which were spent with the Bengals, has played a crucial role in helping Burrow become a top-performing quarterback in completing passes. Together, they have achieved success on the field, even reaching the Super Bowl.

Pitcher also conveyed his satisfaction with working alongside Burrow and the Bengals, stating, “This is the ideal scenario. I’ve had the luxury of growing up here. This is where I learned how to be a coach and doing it under some really good people. It’s not often you get the chance to take all those steps in your career in one place.”He added, “And to be working for really good people who want to see you succeed, and in turn you try to provide value for them in a role like this. I think it’s pretty special. This is what I was hoping for all along.”
