On Friday afternoon, Jaime Ffrench, a five-star receiver, revealed his top four, which included Tennessee football. In addition to the Vols, Ffrench’s top group also included LSU, Miami, and Texas. On August 30, the blue-chip receiver will declare his college commitment.

According to the 247sports composite rankings, Ffrench is rated as a five-star receiver and the 18th best player in the nation. In the 2024 recruiting cycle, the Jacksonville native is ranked as Florida’s No. 4 player and No. 4 receiver.

Ffrench, a standout at Mandarin High School, helped the Mustangs lose in the state championship game by catching 62 passes for 1,247 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Ffrench visited Tennessee three times in all, the first two of which were unofficial trips in March and May followed by an official visit in June. In addition, the five-star quarterback has visited LSU three times and Miami and Texas twice.

In May and June, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver made official visits to all four schools his finalists; Texas hosted the last visit. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine indicates that Texas is the front-runner to sign Ffrench, followed by LSU.Image

Twenty-one players have committed to Tennessee football for the 2025 recruiting class, including three receivers: Travis Smith Jr. (rated four stars), Radarious Jackson (rated four stars), and Joakim Dodson (ranked three stars).

The Vols’ 21-commit 2025 recruiting class currently ranks No. 7 nationally and No. 6 in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
