REPORT: WARRIORS YOUNG GUN TO ANNOUNCE SHOCK RETIREMENT

The shock news comes with the five-eighth just 44 games and four years into his first-grade career.

According to the report, Harris-Tavita will step away from the game where he’ll consider writing and travelling.

The club signalled an interest in retaining the half, but they were told he’s looking for a lifestyle change as his passions are away from the sport.

Harris-Tavita will play out the remainder of the 2022 season with the Warriors.

He’s yet to appear at NRL level since Round 7 after rupturing his testicle against the Melbourne Storm on Anzac Day.
