‘It’s very disappointing’: Selection headache for Port as Ollie Lord sidelined with knee injury
Key Port Adelaide forward Ollie Lord will miss the first eight to ten weeks of the season because of a knee injury.
Lord underwent surgery to repair the damage and now faces a lengthy recovery period, leaving the Power with a selection headache ahead of the season opener against West Coast on Sunday.
“It’s very disappointing for myself, especially on the eve of the season. I felt like I had a strong pre-season and was ready to contribute to the team. Injuries are always disappointing, but I’ll do my best to recover and return as soon as possible,” Lord said.
