An apparent fall from a stand onto onlookers below by a Maidstone United fan prompted Ipswich Town to announce that it is looking into the incident.
The man was watching his team’s 2-1 FA Cup victory from the upper deck of the Cobbold Stand at Portman Road with other away fans.
The fan seemed to roll down the ceiling and land in the tier below during the celebrations of the first half goal.
It is understood that the incident did not result in any significant injuries.

“The club is aware of an incident involving a Maidstone United supporter in the Cobbold Stand at
Portman Road during today’s game,” the man said, plunging off the end of the roof and onto the tier below.
