Marvin Harrison Jr. arrived on campus as a four-star recruit out of high school, drawing NFL comparisons to Kenny Golladay as a future projected Day 3 pick. After only a few years, the departing Buckeyes’ star is one of the most sought-after players in the 2024 NFL Draft.
While Caleb Williams and Drake Maye are regarded as the top two draft prospects in 2024, not every team requires a quarterback. However, every NFL team is looking for offensive weapons, and the league believes Harrison Jr. has the potential to become a perennial All-Pro selection.
The 6-foot-3 wideout flashed early promise at Ohio State, but he saw limited playing time as a freshman. Harrison Jr. broke out as a sophomore with 1,263 receiving yards and four touchdowns after netting 139 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 2021.
In 2022, he was named a unanimous All-American and was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award. While he didn’t win the national title as a sophomore, he did in 2023 with another outstanding season. As he likely moves on to the next level, one team is said to be ready to take him.
According to Pro Football Network’s Adam Caplan, Harrison Jr. will not be passed up by the Arizona Cardinals if he is available in the 2024 NFL Draft.
